DTN COMMENTS: A light trade is being reported, with Northern dressed 
sales at $295, generally steady with last week's weighted averages. 
Southern live deals are being marked at $184 to $185, mostly $184 steady 
with last week's weighted averages. Some asking prices remain firm around 
$186 to $187 in the South, and $297-plus in the North. 

Beef cutouts are lower at midday (choice 294.20 -1.19, select 284.91 -
0.85) with moderate box movement (74.05 lds of choice cuts, 15.02 lds of 
select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 24.89 lds of ground). Cattle futures 
near the top of the noon hour are mostly moderately lower on live 
contracts, and sharply lower on feeder issues.
